Salocin Group and Wood for Trees, part of Salocin Group, will be attending the CIOF Insight in Fundraising Conference on Monday 22nd September 2025.
This year, we’re proud to support the event by sponsoring the Tech & Tools stream. Wood for Trees’ win at the awards last year, inspired our session talk this year – it’ll be all about our work with Cats Protection.
As well as that, we’ll be on stand 6-7 throughout the day and look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible.
Sharing insight with Cats Protection
Our talk will spotlight the Golden Record project that transformed Cats Protection’s supporter engagement.
Wood for Trees’ very own, Alison Ogden will join former colleague Ben Perch, now Head of Data & Analytics at Cats Protection, to share how the charity integrated 11 data sources into a single supporter view. The session will explore:
- How the Single Customer Supporter View (SCSV) powers a supporter-centric model
- The operational efficiencies delivered through Dynamics integration
- Key insights from linking retail behaviour to fundraising performance
- New opportunities such as reclaiming unclaimed Gift Aid
- Greater segmentation and profiling to engage diverse audiences
This project has fundamentally changed how Cats Protection operates, creating measurable impact for both the charity and the supporters who make its work possible. You can read the case study here.
Who you’ll meet
As well as Alison and Ben on-stage, you’ll see many of our team throughout the day:
- Rich Snook hosting the Tech & Tools stream as sponsor lead
- Lotte Buckley and Kayleigh Philps, who are also part of the CIOF Insight in Fundraising SIG committee and event organisers
- Lorna Hinton, Gerry Darley and Naomi Hurst representing Salocin Group and Wood for Trees
Continuing our commitment to insight
The CIOF Insight in Fundraising Conference is always a highlight in our calendar. Last year’s award success and thought-provoking sessions really showed the importance of collaboration, innovation and data-driven insight.
This year, we’re proud to share how our award-winning project has grown into a cat-alyst for change and to showcase how insight continues to drive smarter fundraising and deeper supporter engagement.
If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to grab your ticket for the conference here.
