About SRUK

  • SRUK is the only UK charity solely focused on improving awareness, support and understanding for those affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud’s
  • Small charity – 12 employees, £1.5-£2.5m annual income
  • Goal – scale operations for greater impact and sustainability

Challenge

SRUK embarked on a transformation journey, with support from Wood for Trees, to:

  1. Improve digital and data capabilities for impactful decision-making
  2. Enhance supporter engagement via targeted communications
  3. Build internal capacity for sustained growth
  4. Develop a scalable framework to increase awareness and fundraising

Approach

  • Conducted workshops, interviews and data analysis to assess SRUK’s current state
  • Benchmarked strategies, policies and digital infrastructure
  • Developed aspirational supporter journeys and a feasible target state design
  • Identified gaps and created an actionable, phased roadmap, with quick wins and long-term solutions
